Website???? ?

Heya everyone.

It seems to me we dont have a website, only a forum.

Perhaps someone from the guild know how to make one, that could be really nice to have. I have been looking around on the other aion recruiting sites.. and some got some really nice websites. Plus that they got there legion full allready. as i see we need lots of chanters. maybe with a website, that could give some more interest for the legion.??

think that will be a great thing if u did.. think it will make the guild more suited for recruiting more 18+ ppl

I dont see the point in having a website really. we have all we need here. Though we where talking about buying a domain, and have a welcome site with the legions members on.. maybe flash? ( with a link that transfer people to here.

Ah, the eternal question of website and forums, or just forums, eh?

Well, in the past I've seen that it's often quite useful to have a fairly basic webpage linking to a forum which is the real soul of the site. I mean, you can post important news and updates on the main page so people just checking up on things can take a look without having to log in, troll through the threads etc.

Although this is only my experience as a guild master for about three/four months before I quite WoW; but a lot of people were quite fond of the website to forum combo as it gave the place a feeling of structure while remaining casual. Still, the work required can be a bit of a pain so .

And is not worth it imo.. I still just think about an intro image with cool graphic and the member names on it. or similar

^Depends on what it'd be used for or whether it's there to look pretty really.
